This compact USB-C PD trigger module lets you pull fixed DC voltages directly from a USB-C Power Delivery charger without any firmware, negotiation code, or microcontroller. Select the output voltage using the onboard DIP switches, connect your load via the screw terminal, and you’re done.

It’s ideal for powering electronics projects, prototyping, bench setups, or converting a USB-C PD adapter into a reliable DC power source.

How it works:

Plug the module into a USB-C PD charger. Set the desired voltage using the DIP switches. The module negotiates the selected PD profile automatically and outputs the corresponding voltage on the terminal block.

Key Features:
  • USB-C Power Delivery trigger module

  • DIP switch selectable output voltage

  • No programming or firmware required

  • Screw terminal for secure wire connection

  • Compact, plug-and-play design

  • Works with standard USB-C PD chargers and power banks

Specifications:

  • Connector: USB Type-C (male)

  • Protocol: USB Power Delivery (PD)

Output Voltage (selectable via DIP switch)

  • 5V

  • 9V

  • 12V

  • 15V

  • 20V
(Available voltages depend on the connected PD power source)

Output Connection

  • 2-pin screw terminal

Output Current

  • Up to the maximum supported by the PD charger at the selected voltage
(typically up to 3A; limited by charger and cable)

Switch Type

  • 3-bit DIP switch for voltage selection

  • Compact PCB design for easy integration

Operating Mode

  • Fixed voltage output (no dynamic adjustment)

Typical Applications:
  • Powering development boards and electronics projects

  • Bench power from USB-C PD adapters

  • LED strips, motors, and DC modules

  • Portable power solutions using PD power banks

Notes:

  • Always set the DIP switches before connecting your load.

  • Ensure your power source supports the selected voltage.

  • This module does not regulate or limit current beyond PD negotiation.
